Whether I think about the hours I spent making extravagant skirts out of sheets, coupled with my custom bodice (bathing suit) at age 7, or the times I stayed up late watching the French Revolution series at age 9 just to see the costumes; I recognize the threads from my early years make perfect sense. My passions are clothing, textiles and the cultural interaction we have with clothing. Now, I am trying my hand at designing my own line for real, and I am loving the excitement and challenge of coordinating my learned skills with my passions. One of many rewards is constantly coming to terms with what I don't yet know and want to learn!
